JazzTimes is honored to premiere the video for “Cheryl,” a classic Charlie Parker composition, as rendered by the Canadian collective TuneTown. The track appears on the trio’s second album, Entering Utopia, which was released on March 19 by the new label Three Pines Records.

TuneTown—a sax/bass/drums trio that harks back to the work of Sonny Rollins and Lee Konitz in the same performance configuration—consists of Kelly Jefferson on saxophones, Artie Roth on bass, and Ernesto Cervini on drums, percussion, and bass clarinet.
