Zen Boogie

Zen Boogie is a Jazz Fusion band built around the music of Los Angeles born and bred Robert Linden, and the music that inspires his music.

It’s style is eclectic – from the blues of Janis Joplin and Otis Redding to the pop of Carole King and James Taylor, the folk of Dan Fogelberg, the rock of Robbie Robertson and The Beatles, the fusion of Steely Dan and even the standards of Rodgers and Hart.

Zen Boogie was one of the official bands of the 2011 LA Marathon, having been voted “Best Jazz Ensemble” at the Malibu Music Awards, and also a recent finalist at the LA Music Awards. Known by their fans as “ZB,” they perform both original and their take on classic songs.

They received rave reviews for their first album, “Beginnings – The Early Live Recordings” and will be releasing their second (and what will be their first studio-recorded album) “Now and Zen”.
