Vivienne Aerts

From the Netherlands, Vivienne Aerts (1986) lives in Boston (USA) and studies at Berklee College of Music. She is among the world’s t promising jazz students being admitted to the Global Jazz Institute jazz talent program. Her teachers include renowned jazz artists such as Danilo Perez, Joe Lovano, John Patitucci, Ed Saindon and Jetro Da Silva. Her music refers to the sounds of the Ella, Duke and Miles. Being occasionally uncategorizable Vivienne is more than a composer and a singer. The flow of her music creates an intimate connection with the audience. She shared stages with national and international renowned artists such as Joe Cohn, Florian Weber. In 2009 was the release of the 1st cd called ‘Roofgarden’ and her second cd “Polaroid” (2012) is a snappy Jazz a cappella EP, recorded with Australian electronic producer Geoff Baker.
