He is coming from musician family, by the age of 5 being encouraged by his grandfather, who was clarinetist and saxophone player, too.
During the studies at Conservatory in Žilina (SK), specialized in classical saxophone, joined Big Band called „the Slovak Young Swing Generation” and as a member of this band played on Bratislava Jazz Days in 1997.
After graduation he quickly established in the musician elite.
He was invited as a guest in 2002 to join the European project Europlane Orchestra of Italian pianist Robert Magrisa consisting from the prominent musicians from different states of Europe (CD Europlane Orchestra Live feat. Philippe Catherine).
In 2002 was Radovan honoured by prize „Jazzman of the year” given to the best Slovak jazzmen on honour of Slovak jazzman Ladislav Martoník.
In duo with pianist Onrej Krajňák recorded CD Elements, nominated for Slovak music award „Aurel” as jazz album of the year.
He cooperated and played with finest musicians from all over the world: James Morrison, Oliver Kent, Harry Sokal, Jarek Smietana, Piotr Baron, Janus Muniak, Roy Hargrove, Esstiet Essiet, E.J. Strickland, Marcus Strickland, Donald Edwards, Keyon Harold, Joan Faulkner, Kornel Fekete Kovacs, Gabor Winand, Jeff Ballard, George Mraz and others.
At Bratislava Jazz Days 2009 had premiere new project with Juraj Bartoš; Bartoš & Tariška Super Band, consisting from best Slovak and Czech musicians.
Radovan is the member and bandleader of Radovan Tariška Sextet.
