Nolan Gasser

Nolan Gasser, piano; is the Architect of Pandora Radio’s Music Genome Project. Nolan received his Ph.D. in Musicology from Stanford University, where he’s been an Adjunct Professor in Medieval and Renaissance Music History; at the same time, he’s been playing jazz since his early teens. His compositions have been performed at such venues as Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, Lincoln Center, La Salle Pleyel (Paris), and the Rose Bowl. Recent projects include his “Sonoma Overture” at the opening of the new Green Music Center in Sonoma County, “The Secret Garden,” commissioned by San Francisco Opera (premiered March 1, 2013).
