Mike Di Lorenzo

As a New York based freelance musician, keyboardist Mike DiLorenzo has had the opportunity to perform as a sideman on piano, organ, and synthesizers with a wide range of artists whose styles range from Rhythm and Blues to Latin and Jazz with artists such as Whitney Houston, Cissy Houston, the grammy award winning NJ Mass Choir, Gerald Alston, Regina Belle, Tisha Campbell, Bo Diddley, among many others to performing and recording with musicians such as Bernard Purdie, Randy Brecker, Will Lee, Otis Rush, “Patato” as well as the Delaware and North Carolina Symphonies. He has performed in such NYC landmarks as Carnegie Hall, Radio City Music Hall, Madison Square Garden, the Blue Note and the Apollo Theater as well as television appearances on NJN.

In 2005, Mike produced his first solo recording entitled “Urbanized” which received national commercial radio airplay, including CD101.9FM and FOX television. In 2006, one track was nominated by CDBaby for Instrumental jazz song of the year. His version of “Too High” still receives steady airplay on the “Chill with Mindy Abair” show which is syndicated across the country.
