Award-winning jazz pianist and composer from Virginia. Doing music since age 4, blind since age 11, Justin graduated summa cum laude from William Paterson University in NJ, where he first came into contact with Clark Terry, learned from and performed with him. He was added to the Quincy Jones Artist Roster and included in Quincy Jones’ 2013 World Tour. The Terry – Kauflin relationship has been chronicled in the documentary “Keep On Keepin’ On,” premiering in Los Angeles on Sept. 19, 2014. He will perform at the Library of Congress, Coolidge Auditorium, on October 22, 2014, celebrating 50 years of braille music at the Library.
