Described as “one of Des Moines’ best kept secrets”, Heather MacLennan is a saucy singer/performer who started on stage very early in life. Over the last 30+ years, this Des Moines raised performer has appeared vocally and dramatically on many stages throughout Iowa and beyond its borders. She has been in a number of local Central Iowa bands, and has long-standing studio recording experience. She sings a wide variety of genres from Country, to Jazz and Blues, or Classic Rock, and even Celtic, but all with equal passion for their individual styles. Heather has shared the stage with many local “greats” including Jason Danielson, Tina Haas-Findlay, Scott Smith, Paul Wilson, Max Wellman, Sam Salamone, Julius Brooks, Steve Charlson, Dave Rezek, and dozens more! Heather is a single mom working professionally for a prominent Financial Services Company, and successfully maintains a balanced, down-to-earth personality. She’s a genuine gem in Des Moines’ crown of amazing talent.
