Regular appearances at jazz festivals in Canada have helped to carve out a whole new fan base for Cunha’s post-bossa groove, and in 2009, she explored the musical affinities between Canada and her homeland with her album, appropriately entitled “Brasil Canada”

It’s no secret that, although Brazil is Fernanda’s homeland and she performs at jazz festivals all over the world, Canada is her heart´s country.

The CD brings Bossa nova, sambas, upbeat songs, and Brazilian blues and jazz.

In January 2017 she is releasing a special project featuring songs of Antonio Carlos Jobim in celebration of his 90th year of birth. The project is entitled JOBIM 90.
