Cliff deMarks is the very prolific jazz musician from Atlanta. They say a prophet is not honored in his own country. That is certainly the case with this artist, since he is better known from New York to L.A. than he is in Atlanta, GA. When people meet him and are surprised that they have never heard of a performer of his caliber, his half-joking response is “I won’t hold that against you.”
