Anders Holst

Born in Gothenburg Sweden, Anders grew up in a home filled with music. Not only from the thousands of choirs for which his nation is known, but also his Father’s diverse record collection – Artie Shaw, Duke Ellington, Frank Sinatra, and later The Supremes, Dionne Warwick and Burt Bacharach. Following his influences and passion, Anders wrote his first song at age eleven. But before pursuing his life-long dream of music, he met success with his first career in strategic business consulting.

He later moved to America and the Ross Institute, where he became Co-Chairman with his 2nd wife. There, he established and united educational, entertainment, and technological communities to create new ideas and growth that opened international dialogue about teaching, healthcare and environmental concerns. His professional efforts were recognized and lauded globally.

In 2005 Anders Holst released his first EP, Five, which All Music Guide heralded as, “deftly weaving pop, jazz, and classical into a smooth style all its own.” The great reception encouraged the 2009 release of his second album, Romantika – a collection of songs that ponder love, separation and redemption. The album came about as a result of a long-term collaboration between Swedish colleagues Mats Byström (co-composer), Jerker Eklund, Alar Suurna and Cleo Award-winning filmmaker Peter Israelson for the EPK.
