Alice Stuart

A Washington State native, Alice Stuart came to a deep appreciation of blues in the early 1960’s through the folk revival movement where she met and played with some of the great folk blues players of that movement.

Later she went on to pick up the electric guitar, form her own band, and play with many of the rock movement’s innovators, such as Jerry Garcia and Frank Zappa. But always Alice returned to her own sensibilities of what is the core of her own blend of American influences.
