Aspiring saxophonists need look no further than the BBC Radio 3 London Jazz Festival to jumpstart their careers. The White Foundation World Saxophone Competition will take place at that festival from November 17 through the 19. The grand prize includes $3500, a new instrument, an audition with a major jazz label, performances in New York and London, print coverage in a major jazz media source, and even legal tips to make sure all those records execs stay in check.
