On June 5, Verve Records will release We All Love Ella: A Celebration of the First Lady of Song, as musicians young and old pay their dues to legendary singer Ella Fitzgerald, taking a crack at 12 of Lady Ella’s songs. Gladys Knight, Linda Ronstadt, Queen Latifah and other artists worked on the tribute under the direction of producer Phil Ramone (Tony Bennett, Frank Sinatra, Ray Charles).
