Music is free this summer in Central Park. Thanks to funding from beer brewers Heineken, communications experts Cingular Wireless and other benefactors from private and public sectors, 101 entertainers-from musicians to dancers to spoken word artists-will perform free of charge over the summer as part of 2002 SummerStage festivities. The 2002 program features world music, modern dance, cabaret, electronic music, opera, family programs and educational workshops, and jazz too. Jazz-related shows are listed below.
