Southern Arts Foundation Releases JazzSouth 37

The Southern Arts Foundation launched its tenth season of the JazzSouth radio series with the release of another compilation of Southeast jazz musicians. JazzSouth was created by the federation to help Southern jazz musicians get radio airplay. The hour-long program is broadcast by more than 240 stations

worldwide, including the national radio networks in Colombia and Australia, Sweden, and Poland. Each broadcast of JazzSouth is heard by more than 4 million listeners around the world. Featured on the new CD are New Orleans vocalist Phillip Manuel, Georgia trombonist Wycliffe Gordon, and Joe Gransden, a trumpet player from Atlanta.
