Sex Mob Does Bond

Sex Mob’s Sex Mob Does Bond, a compilation of classic James Bond movie tunes, will be released by Ropeadope Sept. 18. The album is sequenced like a Bond flick, with music for opening credits, acts 1 and 2, intermission and closing credits.

Sex Mob leader Steven Bernstein was right at home working with soundtrack tunes: He worked on the soundtracks to Get Shorty, Clay Pigeons and Kansas City. One of Bernstein’s own compositions, “Dr. Yes,” is included on the album, done up in the style of John Barry’s original Bond soundtracks.
