Sanborn Announces Tour Dates

Jazz and R&B saxophonist David Sanborn is set to tour the US in support of his new release Closer (Verve Records). Sanborn will perform songs off of his new album as well as hits from throughout his career.

For the new record, Sanborn teamed up with producer Stewart Levine, who also produced Sanborn’s 2003 Verve debut Timeagain. Joining Sanborn on Closer are guests including Larry Goldings, Gil Goldstein and Bob Sheppard, as well as Sanborn’s label mate Lizz Wright, who performs James Taylor’s “Don’t Let Me Be Lonely Tonight.”
