Prestige to Release Rudy Van Gelder Remasters Series

Prestige will release 10 remastered CDs next Tuesday as part of its Rudy Van Gelder Remasters series. The 10 titles are Eric Dolphy’s Out There, Gene Ammons’ Boss Tenor, John Coltrane’s Lush Life, Miles Davis’ Relaxin’ With the Miles Davis Quintet, Sonny Rollins’ Saxophone Colossus, Coleman Hawkins’ The Hawk Relaxes, Kenny Burrell and John Coltrane’s Kenny Burrell and John Coltrane, Kenny Dorham’s Quiet Kenny, Red Garland’s Red Garland’s Piano and the Modern Jazz Quartet’s Django.
