New Orleans Social Club to Release Debut Album

The debut album from the New Orleans Social Club, a collective of legendary New Olreans-based musicians, is scheduled to hit stores April 4.

Sing Me Back Home was recorded in Austin, Texas, less than six weeks after Hurricane Katrina ravaged the Gulf Coast, destroying the homes of many of the musicians in the New Orleans Social Club. The band features Leo Nocentelli and George Porter Jr. of the Meters; Neville Brothers members Ivan (pictured), Cyril and Charles; and Raymond Webber, who has played with Harry Connick Jr.
