New Albums From Dave Koz

Saxophonist Dave Koz is recording a follow-up to his latest album Saxophonic, which earned a Grammy nomination for Best Pop Instrumental Album, on Capitol Records. Koz is also recording Golden Slumbers II: A Father’s Love, the follow-up to his 2002 Grammy-nominated Golden Slumbers, which was the first album released by Rendezvous Entertainment, an independent label that Dave co-founded.

Next fall Koz, who also hosts a morning radio show on Los Angeles’ 94.7 and “The Dave Koz Radio Show,” a weekly syndicated radio show, will premiere “Dave Koz & Friends at Sea,” a week-long Holland America Line m/s Oosterdam cruise of the Mexican Riviera. The cruise departs from San Diego, CA on November 5, 2005.

Koz recently collaborated with Dionne Warwick on her first Christmas album, My Favorite Time of the Year, joined numerous other smooth jazz stars on Fovever, For Always, For Luther, a tribute to R&B legend Luther Vandross, and contributed “Deck The Halls,” to Sweet Tracks, Best Buy’s second annual holiday CD featuring new songs from Elton John, Melissa Etheridge, Pete Yorn and more.
