Geraci is a journeyman saxophonist from Cleveland who knows his way around the tenor as well as the music business. He played and recorded with pop groups in the ’60s, toured the country after that, going through the inevitable Vegas lounge circuit. Now he could very well be Michael G., adding his firm jazz conception and good looks-his cover photo suggests Omar Sharif-to a lush, sensitively arranged, somewhat synthesized studio sound for great make-out music of standards and bossa novas.
His first solo project should have been longer: 30 minutes is barely enough time for foreplay.
