Matsui’s Deep Blue Number One

According to next week’s Billboard charts, keyboardist Keiko Matsui (pictured left) has maintained the top position in the contemporary jazz charts. Deep Blue is a pleasing mixture of new-age melodies, classical overtones and relaxed vibes. It is Matsui’s 12th record.
