Louisianan musicians are banding together for a relief benefit to help those that have been devastated by Hurricane Katrina. NBC will stage A Concert for Hurricane Relief this Friday at 8 p.m., which will feature Wynton Marsalis (pictured) and Harry Connick Jr., both from New Orleans, along with country artist Tim McGraw, who was born in Delhi, La., about 200 miles north of New Orleans.
Today show co-anchor Matt Lauer will host the event and actor Leonardo DeCaprio has also signed on as a guest. Other celebrities are also expected to sign on.
