Lucille Rollins Dies

Lucille Rollins, wife and manager of saxophonist Sonny Rollins, died Dec. 1 in her home in Germantown, N.Y. at the age of 76. She and Sonny married in 1957 and she became her husband’s full-time business manager in 1971. A year later, they settled in Germantown.

Rollins was a graduate of Ball State University in Ind., and later worked as an administrative assistant in the physics department at the University of Chicago and New York University.

Rollins is survived by her husband, Sonny.
