Lincoln Center Hosts Jazz Jamboree

One way to fill a concert hall is to load the marquee outside with nearly more famous names than it can accommodate. On April 25 Jazz at Lincoln Center will do just that when the Dave Holland Quintet, the Michael Brecker Quartet, and yes, the Wynton Marsalis Septet participate in a one-night-only jazz jamboree. And Joe Lovano will be there too as a part of the Marsalis group. The groups will play separately, but there will also be performances by ensembles combined of players from each band. Concert starts at 8 p.m. in Avery Fisher Hall, New York City. A list of players is below, for more information, including ticket info, visit jazzatlincolncenter.org.
