JazzReach Event in NYC

Six of the most popular modern-day jazz artists will convene in New York City on Dec. 16 for a benefit concert in support of JazzReach, a non-profit that aims to enrich the lives of young people through live multimedia educational programs.

John Scofield, Jason Moran (pictured), Christian McBride, Jack DeJohnette, Kenny Garrett and Nicholas Payton will convene at the John Jay College Theater in Manhattan for the concert and some of the artists will continue to an after party at the new Dizzy’s Club Coca-Cola at the Jazz at the Lincoln Center’s new home on Broadway.

Tickets for the event are $75 and $150, with the latter tickets including premium front orchestra seating, one complimentary raffle ticket and an after show reception, as well as a ticket to the after party.

JazzReach was established in 1994 by musician H. Benjamin Schuman and has since become one of the nation’s leading arts education organizations, serving over 80,000 young people nationwide.
