The Jacobs Fred Jazz Odyssey is back! The Tulsa/Cincinatti-based trio has been working on their follow up to 2004’s Walking with Giants and has been in the studio with producer Joel Dorn for an album that promises interpretations of tunes by Bjork, the Flaming Lips and Charles Mingus, as well as original material. The album is set for an October release and will be released on Hyena, as was Walking with Giants.
In the meantime, the JFJO has plenty up their sleeve to keep everyone satisfied.
