Jaco Pastorius Tribute Concerts in New York This Weekend

A tribute concert to the late bassist-composer Jaco Pastorius will take place tonight, Nov. 20, through Sunday at the Iridium Jazz Club in New York. Included in this all-star gala, produced by impresario Charles Carlini, are Pastorius colleagues and former bandmates including trumpeters Randy Brecker, Miles Evans and Lew Soloff, saxophonists Alex Foster and Butch Thomas, trombonist David Bargeron, keyboardist Delmar Brown, guitarist David Gilmore and drummer Kenwood Dennard.
