Iridium Announces Winter and Spring Schedule

New York’s Iridium Jazz Club announced it’s winter and Spring schedule, up through March. The club will feature performances from musicians including the Bad Plus, John McLaughlin and Jimmy Scott.

January highlights include the Ed Palmero Big Band Plays the Music of Frank Zappa on Jan. 11, the Bad Plus on Jan. 18-19 and five days of the Bill Charlap Trio with Peter Washington and Kenny Washington, from Jan. 25-29.

February will see the Dr. Lonnie Smith Trio from Feb. 2-5; the Mahavishnu Project and the Music of John McLaughlin on Feb. 8, 15 and 22; and a four-day stint with Jimmy Scott (pictured) from Feb. 9-12. Finally, March will feature the James Carter Organ Trio from March 8-12, Anthony Braxton from March 16-19 and Mose Allison from March 23-26.
