Fullerton Center Hosts Jazz Photography Day

The Fullerton Museum Center in Fullerton, Calif. will host a “Jazz Photography Day” on July 22. The event will feature a special tour of the museum’s “Be-Bop and Hi-Fi: Photographing Jazz” exhibit, which runs through September 9. The exhibit, organized by The Milton J. Hinton Photographic Collection and the Fullerton Museum Center, focuses on six decades of music through the photographs of jazz bassist Milt “The Judge” Hinton (pictured left) and photographers Ray Avery, Kip Polakoff and others.

The one-day event will also include a slide presentation on “Special Conservation Problems of the Milton J. Hinton Photograph Collection.” For hours of operation and cost of admission call the Fullerton Museum Center at 714-738-6545.
