Merely a day after he releases his third album on Palmetto, Fred Hersch Live at the Bimhuis on Feb. 21, pianist Hersch will kick off a national tour with a date at New York’s Adelphi University and a weeklong solo engagement at New York’s Village Vanguard. Hersch will be the first pianist in the club’s 70-year history to perform a week of solo piano.
Following his stint in New York City, Hersch will embark on a nine-date East coast tour. Here are those dates:
