International Women in Jazz is celebrating Women’s History Month by hosting a panel discussion with accomplished female jazz writers on March 27 in New York City. Ford Foundation Fellow Kyra D. Gaunt, Leslie Gourse (author of Unforgettable: The Life and Mystique of Nat King Cole), Columbia professor Farah Jasmine Griffin, journalist, ethnomusicologist, and JazzTimes contributor Lara Pelligrinelli, and Sally Placksin (author of American Women in Jazz, 1900 to Present: Their Words, Lives and Music) will join
