Django Reinhardt New York Festival Set for November

The Django Reinhardt New York Festival is scheduled to take place November 4th through 9th at the Birdland Jazz Club, located at 315 West 44th Street in New York City.

The festival, produced by Pat Philips and Ettore Stratta, will feature “The Young Lions of Gypsy Jazz,” starring such artists as Samson Schmitt, Ludovic Beier, Timbo, Jean Baptiste Schmitt of France, Andreas Oberg of Sweden, Kruno Spisic, music director Brian Torff, and Hot Club of Detroit. Guests will include Joel Frahm on November 4th and 8th, Howard Levy on the 5th, Wycliffe Gordon on the 6th, Edmar Castaneda on the 7th, and David Langlois on the 9th.

Show times are Tuesday through Sunday at 8:30 and 11:00 pm, with $45 orchestra seating and $35 general seating. There will be food and validated nearby parking available.
