With her new album, The Girl in the Other Room, released on April 27, singer-pianist Diana Krall will hit the road in May for a marathon tour that begins in her native Canada and will eventually hit a host of cities throughout America and Europe.
Krall’s new album is her first since her marriage to singer-songwriter Elvis Costello and is her first to feature her own songs-about half of The Girl‘s tracks are tunes she cowrote with Costello. Read more about that here.
If you can’t catch Krall on tour (or if you can’t get enough of her), she’ll be appearing in movie theaters nationwide starting July 2 with the release of the upcoming Cole Porter biopic De-Lovely. The musical film stars Kevin Kline as the famous American composer, and Krall will make an appearance as a singer. The Costello will also appear in the film, as will Natalie Cole, Sheryl Crow and Alanis Morissette.
