Blue Note Radio Returns

A while back Blue Note Records shut down its Web radio station, Blue Note Radio, and the jazz community’s collective visage frowned. We can smile again as Blue Note has revived the streaming audio section of its Web site, with new and improved features.

The new Blue Note Radio is more personal, every listener creates his or her own playlist of tunes from the stockpile of Blue Note-only tracks available at the site. High bandwidth, low bandwidth, vintage Blue Note cuts, Norah Jones—the label has you covered. And it’s free. The only apparent downside seems only to affect Mac users, as Blue Note Radio will only broadcast on a PC.
