Big Bad Horns To Give Clinic and Concert

This might not mean a thing if you can’t swing up to Kent, Wash., but the Big Bad Voodoo Daddy horn section will be giving a clinic and performance at Kentlake High School on March 20-21. The clinic/concert is the high school jazz ensemble’s reward for winning the top prize in Selmer’s second annual high school band competition, which garnered over 500 entries this year. On Tuesday, March 20, the Kentlake High School Jazz Ensemble will rehearse with the five visiting members of Big Bad Voodoo Daddy. The following day, the augmented Jazz Ensemble will perform at a morning assembly, with a concert open to the public at 8 p.m. For more information, call (253) 631-4348.
