Barney Kessel In Need of Help

Guitar legend Barney Kessel is ailing and in need of help. In November of last year he was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer and soon after had surgery, Gamma knife radiation and therapy to rehabilitate him enough to return home in January. The radiation slowed the growth of the very aggressive non-operable tumor (anaplastic astrocytoma), but Kessel still requires 24-hour home care and therapy. He is almost blind, but luckily his hearing is OK and he still enjoys listening to music.

Unfortunately a massive stroke Kessel suffered ten years ago has kept him out of work. Social Security covers his rent, but all of his wife’s salary goes toward her husband’s care. Any generous parties wishing to help the Kessel’s during this hard time can send donations by check to the address below. Every bit of the money donated will go toward Kessel’s care.
