Artt Frank Jazz Ensemble: Waltz for Sharon Stone

Former Chet Baker drummer Artt Frank co-wrote six of these eight original compositions, all lyrically rich and gently swinging. He also assembled a cohesive ensemble of tenor saxophonist Rich Perry, flutist Ali Ryerson and alto saxophonist Matt Criscuolo, plus the unusual addition of Austrian violinist Rudi Berger, with Nik Bariluk on piano and Phil Bowler on bass.

Frank dedicated the album to Sharon Stone because of a shared love of Baker’s music.
