Finally, something at Sotheby’s I can afford. The famous New York auction house begins its Summer Concert Series June 19 with a duet performance by singer Allan Harris (pictured) and pianist Cyrus Chestnut. The concert will be the second time Harris and a jazz piano star kick off the summer concert series. Last year Harris played with the late Tommy Flanagan. Harris and Chestnut will perform their favorite compositions from the American Songbook from Swing to Spirituals. Doors open at 7 p.m., the concert begins at 8. $35. You can’t get a piece of an antique Fabrege imperial egg for that. Call (212) 606-7211 to buy tickets. Sotheby’s is located at 72nd St. and York, New York, NY. The rest of the Summer Concert Series schedule follows.
June 26 – Melissa Walker featuring Steve Wilson and Buster Williams
