All We Hear Is Radio Koz Koz

Dave Koz, the smoothest saxophonist in all of smooth jazz, has officially launched RadioKoz.com. The spanking new Internet radio site will play the saxophonist’s radio program, The Dave Koz Show, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Says Koz, “I’m particularly happy to provide smooth jazz to the thousands of fans who don’t have a smooth jazz radio station in their city.”

The Dave Koz Show, “heard on over 100 terrestrial radio stations worldwide” (and almost assuredly on endless numbers of extraterrestrial radio stations) has aired for 7 years and has amassed over 400 super smooth episodes. This month alone expect to hear from Quincy Jones, Kenny G, David Benoit and Marc Antoine, among many others.

In other Koz newz:

The saxophonist recently received his third GRAMMY nomination for the song “Honey Dipped” from his recent release Saxophonic!, and he was just nominated for an NAACP Image Award in the “Outstanding Jazz Artist” category.

A native of the San Fernando Valley, Koz first turned heads in L.A. with his silky smooth licks 15 years ago. Initially touring with Richard Marx, Jeff Lorber and Bobby Caldwell, Koz has since established himself worldwide, selling multiple millions of records, creating his own label, Rendezvous Entertainment, winning awards from the Recording Academy, the NAACP and Oasis. He has played with a host of musicians, including Burt Bacharach, Ray Charles, Celine Dion, U2, Vanessa Williams and Natalie Cole.
