The third annual Brooklyn Jazz Underground Festival will take place this weekend, Jan. 9-11, at Smalls, located at 183 West 10th Street, at 7th Avenue South in Manhattan. The schedule is as follows:

Through cooperative effort, members of the BJU strive to create greater awareness of their work. The members of The BJU serve an important role in our culture and society by providing a bustle of composing, playing and teaching that enriches, inspires and educates.
