Preservation Hall Jazz Band Announces Tour Dates

Live Carnegie Hall album also due

The Preservation Hall Jazz band has scheduled a busy summer for itself. Opening their tour at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival and the Superfly During Jazzfest Concert Series in their home city, the band will then continue on through North Carolina, Pensylvania, New York and beyond, even heading down to Brazil and Argentina in August. The band will also release a limited edition 10-inch vinyl of the Preservation Hall Jazz Band Live at Carnegie Hall in advance of the full-length concert release later this year. The vinyl will be available for purchase only during Jazzfest. The PHJB Summer 2012 tour comes to an end on Saturday, Aug. 25, at the Cleveland Orchestra Blossom Music Festival in Cuyoga Falls, Ohio.
