Alto saxophonist Carol Chaikin's enthusiasm rings loud with her funky playing, and travels through to her bandmates, pouring out of the guitar, synthesizers, organ, bass, drums, piano and vocals. This sextet, playing electrically melodic compositions by Chaikin and other band members, jumps, jives, screeches, offers surprises, and even swings some.
