Steve Blackwood: I Don’t Worry About a Thing

A familiar face to TV fans (Days of Our Lives, NYPD Blue, The Nanny) although perhaps not a familiar voice in the jazz world, Steve Blackwood is a pleasant listen. His relaxed phrasing and lithe scatting fit nicely with evergreens such as “Black Coffee,” “Stompin’ at the Savoy,” “Fever” and “Bye Bye Blackbird,” as well as Mose Allison’s witty title track.
