“Prez Fest,” a concert celebrating the life and music of bassist, photographer and NEA Jazz Master Milt Hinton will take place March 3 at Saint Peter’s Church, 619 Lexington Avenue at 54th Street in New York City.
The program will include the documentary film Keeping Time: The Life, Music and
Photographs of Milt Hinton at 3 p.m., followed by a panel discussion with moderator David G. Berger with Bill Crow, Dan Morgenstern, Rufus Reid and Joe Wilder.
“The Legend Wall,” a historical exhibit of the life of Hinton, featuring photographs by Hinton, is currently showing in the Living Room gallery at the church and will remain in place until March 3.
