The Hudson Valley Jazz Festival, with shows taking place at several venues throughout New York’s Hudson Valley, is scheduled for Aug. 8-11. The promoters have not revealed the final schedule as of yet, but among those already announced are Dave Liebman, John Abercrombie, Fred Hersch, Steve Swallow, Adam Nussbaum and Mark Egan. A jazz education component is also part of the mix.
