We also offer performance opportunities such as Jazz Ensemble I, Jazz Ensemble II, Jazz Combo I, Jazz Combo II, Jazz Combo III, Latin Jazz Ensemble, Vocal Jazz Ensemble, and a 5-10 piece saxophone ensemble with rhythm sectional called Sax-appeal. We do a lot of collaborative work with The Topeka Jazz Workshop Inc., which is a non-profit organization who provides a series of jazz events and scholarships for middle and high school students within the state. We are also very close to Kansas City, which allows our students to participate in to notch jam sessions and reading bands.
