Alan Chan Jazz Orchestra: "Rancho Calaveras" - A Musical Farm!

From the nature of Alaska to ‘the ranch’ in Altadena, the
Alan Chan Jazz Orchestra (ACJO) will take the audience on an organic musical journey, with imaginative music that draws inspiration from food culture, poetry and spirituality. This concert is funded in part through New Music USA's MetLife Creative Connections Program.

ACJO is a 17-member group under the leadership of award-winning composer Alan Chan, will present a concert with Alan’s original charts titled "Rancho Calaveras – A Musical Farm!" on Sunday, March 3, 7:30 p.m. at the Gateway Performance Series in West Los Angeles.

The ACJO is comprised of some of the top big band musicians in Los Angeles, which include Rick Baptist (trumpet), Andy Martin (trombone), Andrew Synowiec (guitar), Alex Budman (saxophone) and Jeff Stradling (piano/toy piano), among others.
