Alvin Youngblood Hart live @ JALC - Blues Concert

Nov 09 - Nov 10, 2012

No baby boomer bluesman is more connected to the raw essence of Delta Blues than Alvin Youngblood Hart, who refracts deep Mississippi roots from the perspective of a son of Oakland, California. Hart can also rock-out and swing with the very best, but on his JALC program, the one-time Taj Mahal protégé, an articulate historian and educator who earned a 2004 Grammy for Beautiful Dreamer: The Songs of Stephen Foster, convenes Corey Harris and Phil Wiggins for a soul-stirring program of acoustic blues.
